About Mr. Wastler
I was born in and grew up in Frederick, Maryland. I attended college at the University of Maryland - College Park, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics, with minors in American Literature and Economics. Following graduation, I worked briefly in the private sector before starting my career in education. I taught Social Studies for Carroll County Public Schools (MD), as well as serving as an Assistant Band Director, for 8 years. I then spent 4.5 years serving as an Assistant High School Principal with Carrroll County Public Schools.
In March 2016, I made the move to Pennsylvania, where I served as a High School Principal in York County for 3.5 years. In 2019, I moved to a position as an Assistant Principal at Lower Dauphin High School, where I also served as the Principal of the Price School. In 2021, I moved to Londonderry Elementary as the Principal. I have two daughters who attend school in York County and a wife who serves as an instructional coach in York County. Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, fishing, and working in my woodshop. I am currently attending Central Michigan University, where I am a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership.
