Londonderry Township is located in the southwestern corner of the Lower Dauphin School District, bordering the Susquehanna River and Lancaster County. As one of our more rural townships, Londonderry Elementary School serves as the focal point for many community events.

According to the 2010 Census, Londonderry Township has a population of 5,235 people and 2,150 households. The median age of the township's residents is 43.4.

Londonderry Township is Lower Dauphin's third-largest municipality and Londonderry Elementary School provides educational experiences to approximately 240 students. The district's average elementary class size is 21 students.

School hours are from 9:00AM to 3:30PM. Office hours are from 8:00AM to 4:30PM. During the summer, our office hours are 7:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday through Thursday.
