Follow directions on the self-paced Nearpod activity. 

After each time you type an answer, click Nearpod's back button, and then forward button, for more practice. Continue practicing by going back and forth on the slide until you have done all of the sentences.

Scroll down and click on one of the very many choices. I suggest states, countries, or bodies of water. If you are having trouble, pick a quiz that focuses on just one region of the US, or one region of a continent. Physical features (like mountains or peninsulas) may also be interesting. Please don't spend class time on abbreviations or flags. 

One of the benefits of this site is that if you get it wrong, it shows what the state or country is that you picked.

This is fun! Twenty-one randomly selected states drop down with their names attached. You need to drag and drop them on the US map to show where they are located. This is helpful because the shape helps you find the location. You can also pick other map matches with countries in other areas of the world. I do not recommend doing the capital cities game.
