Way back in the olden days, I taught 6th grade at Manheim Central for a year before having kids. Then I spent 16 years as an at-home mom to my four kids before beginning to sub at East Hanover. I even got to teach 5th grade there for part of two years as a long-term sub. In 2015, I was thrilled to get my very own fifth grade classroom at Londonderry!
My favorite things to teach include science investigations, our Outdoor Education program, figurative language, poetry, algebraic concepts, and geography.
Things I love:
Babies, soccer, making people laugh, singing (sometimes that makes people laugh!), tennis, ladybugs, plays and musicals, kayaking, games, and magnolia trees
Things I don't love:
Poison ivy, cilantro, straws, hurt feelings, war, cheating, humidity, and earwigs
