Meet Miss Sheaffer

I began working at the Lower Dauphin School District during the 2023-2024 school year. Prior to joining the LD team, I worked with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit in York, PA, where I traveled to a variety of schools and provided home services to students of all learning abilities. I am a Lower Dauphin graduate and even attended Londonderry Elementary during my K-5 years.

I received my Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State in 2019 and my Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Towson University in 2021. I am a Natural Language Acquisition therapist and also completed the AAC + GLP course alongside this training. I also have a passion for AAC users and in treating speech sound disorders.

Outside of work, I like to hang out with friends and family (including our family puppy!), go to hockey games (go Bears!), crochet, and read.
